In 2023, Meaningless Matters More Than Ever
The phrase "I'm thrilled to announce" is thrown around a lot these days...
Whether 2023 will be a “Happy” new year is still TBD, but I thought I’d kick things off by first saying: thank you.
Thank you for voluntarily signing up for this — whatever it is. Lord knows we’re drowning in content, so I’m grateful for the support.
In that vein, as this platform continues to grow, I’m going to open up paywall subscriptions in addition to the free option, which will always be there.
Truth is, five bucks a month gets you little beyond what I already offer for free.
But it does say something.
It says you believe this is something worth supporting.
It says that you understand, despite what were told by everyone and everything around us, that the world is on the verge of a major transformation.
It even says whether you even believe the God of the Bible is real, you understand that the story we’ve been told about our past and how we got here cannot possibly explain the present in which we live.
In that vein, later this month we’ll be launching Meaningless Matters, a video series in which we’ll take a journey together into what is, in my view, one of the most suprisingly candid books in all of Scripture, one in which the richest man in history, King Solomon, bemoans the vapid and utter meaninglessness of life.
More to come on that.
Alongside Meaningless Matters, we’re also going to be launching a video series tentatively titled The Continuity of Israel.
If you’re a theology nerd like me, if you think the Bible is a jumbled mess, or you simply want to dive deeper into why the bestselling book of all time seems to focus on one particular people group, you won’t want to miss this.
So, 3 quick takeaways for 2023:
Thanks for being here. Sincerely.
