The flood also helps explain the bones buried while the animals were eating or giving birth. Once we establish the need for a creator we can show how He is the only authority to set the rules for His creation, The Ten Commandments, that show us we are sinners in need of a saviour from God's wrath in the Lake of fire. Then we can turn to the gospels and preach the truth in them to a people who are seeking salvation.
