The Normalization Of The Obscene, or When They Say They're Coming For Our Kids, We Should Believe Them
It's time for those who say they follow the Bible to stand up for what it says
“To sin by silence, when they should protest, makes cowards of men.”
– Ella Wheeler Wilcox
The lies, they are a-changing.
Nearly half a century ago, our nation - and its rule of law - was forever altered by Roe v. Wade, the landmark Supreme Court case establishing a federally protected right for women to safely and legally terminate the life of a baby in the womb.
Then they changed the language: an infant child became a “fetus,” infanticide became “abortion,” and the desire to end a life became “a woman’s right to choose.”
Decades later, we were strong-armed into believing that, yes, two consenting adults of the same biological sex entering in a state-sanctioned marriage covenant, however unbiblical, would remain private and behind closed doors, away from the eyes of our children and our culture.
Fast forward no more than half a generation later- the goalposts haven’t just been moved, they’ve been altogether eliminated.
Nowadays, the only acceptable outcome for the Sodomite mob, not unlike the days of Lot, is to demand the right to sexualize everyone and everything, even those members of your own private household.
The madness of the alphabet soup crowd will accept no lesser a sacrifice.
Because this movement, as Bible-believing Christians have always suspected right from the start, was birthed in the pit of hell.
We capitulated when they said murdering the unborn was the right of any woman, for virtually any reason, anywhere in the United States.
We watched as they marched for “equal rights,” demanding we bow the knee at the altar of their definition of love, never once stopping to ask how God’s Word defines it.1
We looked the other way when the culture ramped up its messaging through mass media in pursuit of the normalization of the obscene - from “Will & Grace” to RuPaul and “Caitlyn”.
We exchanged the truth of God’s design - “male and female He created them”2 - for the lie, allowing mainstream media to harangue the church and even good moral pagans into accepting and even endorsing an unscientific and unbiblical notion of “gender”.
In fact, it has been largely through a generation held captive to junk food content like “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” that the global secular mind has been poisoned with the pill of gayness, of sexual perversity, of marriage losing its original definition through the so-called “civil rights movement of our age.”
Nowhere is this more self-evident than at San Francisco’s disgusting annual rite of spitting in our Savior’s face: the “Sisters’ Easter” mockery.
If you ever wondered what Sodom must have looked like, look no further than this event - now nearly 20 years old - held on the very day 2 billion Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead for the salvation of those who trust in His name.
This utterly demonic and blasphemous event features a “Hunky Jesus” costume contest, where contestants wearing a crown of thorns held up signs reading “shoot cum not guns” and “gun control Jesus.”
Or how about a depiction of the God of the Universe as a black woman wearing a nose ring and chains?
While technically only blasphemy for Catholics (who erroneously worship the mother of God), there’s this year’s “Foxy Mary”, the Transgender Maria de Guadalupe, pictured under the caption “They have risen!”
And in case you might think this event was a one-off, it’s been held for more than 15 years by a group known as The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, which claims to currently operate across 14 countries on four continents.
Just FYI.
For the average American, maybe none of this is super concerning.
A little weird? Sure. Not your cup o’ tea? Probably.
“But hey, consenting adults, amirite?”
Not quite.
This event - clearly adults-only in its theme and content - also had an Easter egg hunt.
For children.
In fact, a poster for the event - alongside a “hunky” black Jesus figure and a cross-dressing nun - features small children front and center, doing away with any pretense that the organizers have an adults-only audience in mind.
One video showed a costumed “Sister” escorting the Easter bunny through the park as little children gathered eggs and waved hello to what, for their still developing brains, surely must have been an unsettling sight.
That’s right: kids were in attendance, “ministered” to by drag queens and perverts in an Easter Sunday ritual, brought there ostensibly by their very own parents.
But for all its depravity, the Hunky Jesus/Foxy Mary contest wasn’t even the most disturbing part of all of this.
It’s one thing to be sexually deviant in your lifestyle and flaunt it openly. In a sense, we expect these people to act like this, especially in San Francisco.
It’s quite another thing, however, to watch parents - real, actual human beings with vested authority and interest in their kids’ healthy development - bring their children to see it all up close and normalized.
Let’s be clear-eyed about this: offering up your small children to worship at the altar of sexual perversion is 100 percent evil and in itself is a form of child abuse.
I’m not sure there’s much wiggle room there for “dialogue.”
Speaking of our children, it’s nothing new for this community to openly call for the indoctrination of kids into the homosexual lifestyle.
Remember when the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus released a song entitled “We’re Coming For Your Children” - get it? aren’t they so clever? - and singing the not-so-subtle threats of “we’ll convert your children” and “we’ll make them tolerant and fair…The gay agenda is coming home."
The song was written by Tim Rosser and Charlie Sohne, a duo that previously apologized for reportedly writing music endorsing Afghan child sex abuse.
The Gay Men’s Chorus actually had the hubris to defend their actions before ultimately deciding to take down the video - but only after parents rightly spoke out.
Because they realized no matter what groups like the Gay Men’s Chorus want the public to believe, openly threatening to pervert and groom other people’s children - even in the form of jest and song - is not a joke.
It’s a direct threat.
Only intellectually weak and emotionally fragile adults would ever fail to recognize this as such.
Even librarians - ‘memba them? - can’t help promoting sexual deviancy and racialist propaganda to children. Just check out the lineup for the Texas Librarians Association.
Again: these are taxpayer-funded school employees who interact with young children every single day.
Jesus has some very strong words for those who would attempt to pervert and mislead young children.
About that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?” Jesus called a little child to him and put the child among them. Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. “And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me. But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea."
- Matthew 18:1-6
Even the most sin-hardened among us can’t miss this message. Even the most depraved sodomite or pedophile can’t avoid its meaning:
Humble yourself as a child, and you can live eternally with the One who made you.
Hurt a child and, like Judas, it would be better to have never been born.
That’s what’s coming for these people.
For all their flair and bluster, they cannot procreate. They cannot reproduce. They cannot conceive life (without medical intervention). It is, at least for the moment, a physiological impossibility.
So they groom. They recruit. They message and exploit.
Your children.
My children.
See, their efforts are nothing short of a declaration of war.
I don’t mean “war” as a semantic device, nor do I invoke it as a means of dramatization.
It is quite literally a proclamation of sovereignty over that which does not belong to them, but to us - namely our children.
Are you going to cede that sovereignty to them?
Or are you going to stand for the one thing that promises to carry on your genetic and spiritual legacy?
Unlike the 1980s, this is the furthest thing from a culture war.
That’s already been lost.
Where are we now?
This is the hill to die on.
